Prior to working in the industry, Devin studied at Bishop’s University, where he earned a degree in mathematics and business. He has since obtained the CFA® (Chartered Financial Analyst) and CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) designations. In his spare time, Devin enjoys playing hockey, trying new foods, exploring new countries, and volunteering as a mentor for the Big Brother Big Sister of Toronto charity.
Originally from Burlington, Dylan moved to Toronto to attend Seneca College and earned an Honours Bachelor Degree in Financial Services Management. He started his career at BMO, working as a Business Development Associate/Investment Specialist, where he deepened his knowledge of product offerings and learned to excel at managing client relationships. Dylan is now a Chartered Investment Manager & CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional. Dylan is actively involved in the community coaching the 18U Toronto Playgrounds DS Baseball Club & an Alumni Speaker at Seneca College. He enjoys rooting for the hometown Toronto Blue Jays & Maple Leafs and playing squash in his spare time.

Corbin is a committed wealth professional with a decade of experience acting as an advisor to families, business owners, and executives. His time at two major bank brokerages has given him exposure to a wide variety of unique cases spanning all levels of wealth. He is known for carefully tailoring a solution for each client using an approach built on patience and understanding.
In his free time, Corbin enjoys golfing, cooking, and playing with his English Springer Spaniel, Martha.
Sonia joined the Verecan team in 2023 as a Wealth Administrator. With over 18 years of customer service experience, Sonia brings a wealth of expertise to her role. She is passionate about prioritizing clients’ needs and aims to contribute to a team that shares the same client-centric values.
Previously, Sonia was a client care administrator at Jay Miller Real Estate for over six years. She played a key role in delivering exceptional service to clients, ensuring a seamless and white-glove experience for those buying or selling properties. Over the years, Sonia has honed her customer service skills, focusing on providing outstanding experiences and supporting team success.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Sonia has a keen interest in interior design and enjoys expressing her creativity through decorating — she has also rediscovered her passion for sewing. When not working, Sonia cherishes spending time at home with her husband, their two-year-old son, and their beloved pets.
Sadie has been serving our clients in Nelson since 2007. In 2016 she embarked on a new role within our team and has continued to expand her responsibilities. Her problem-solving abilities are second to none, and she has proved to be an invaluable part of our team’s success. Today, Sadie is responsible for company-wide operations as well as day-to-day management and professional development of the administrative team across Canada.
Sadie was born and raised in Nelson, BC and is a proud supporter of the community, serving as a member of the local Rotary Club and the Kootenay Swim Club. Sadie is a loving mother to Sawyer and Grayson, who are also growing up to appreciate Nelson and enjoy an active Kootenay lifestyle.
Shawna’s extensive background in the financial services industry began in 1997 after becoming licensed with IIROC and starting her career at Beacon Securities Ltd. Throughout her career, Shawna has held senior positions with multiple organizations in the financial services industry, including DundeeWealth, Hollis Wealth and Assante Wealth Management.
Shawna has a reputation for achieving results with an emphasis on team development and relationships. She has a proven track record of leadership, managing corporate risk, building employee engagement, and implementing & leading the success of major corporate initiatives.
Shawna sat on IIROC’s NS District Council for eight years and served as Chairperson representing Nova Scotia on IIROC’s National Advisory Committee for 2 years.
Fun fact about Shawna that you might not know — she’s a huge Walt Disney World fan. She loves WDW for the attention to detail – from taking care of guests to honouring the past with little touches all around the parks to the completely immersive experience of being there. One of her favourite quotes is by Walt Disney, “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible” — we think that’s fitting based on her track record of getting results!
