We designed an approach to financial services that begins and ends with the needs of each client. Verecan is structured to reduce many of the incentives, pressures, and product conflicts that can distort the typical financial services model.

The outdated model relies on incentives. Verecan does not. Our advisors and Portfolio Managers are salaried and are not paid through commission-based investment product recommendations. So we aren’t incentivized to sell the wrong product to our clients simply because it benefits us. Our only incentive is doing the right thing for you.

The outdated model is based on charging clients fees. Verecan is not. We don’t charge management fees on our mutual funds. There are never any hidden fees. We don’t receive kickbacks from our insurance and mortgage brokered products. Transparency means everything.

The outdated model puts the client’s needs second to profit. Verecan does not. We don’t want to “sell” anything. Our goal is to provide the right financial advice that helps our clients most. And you can trust our advice because our portfolio managers are invested in the same portfolios as their clients—we only recommend what we buy into ourselves.

The outdated model is rife with conflict. Verecan is not. As an independent, employee-owned firm, we reduce several of the common conflicts that show up in our industry. We can make choices for our clients that are free from the influence of corporate entities, shareholders, and fund providers. We’re never forced to choose specific products or solutions. Since we aren’t incentivized to sell certain products, we can recommend exactly what’s right for you.
